Crushed leaf
Coarser leaf material is commonly associated with traditional loose-leaf tea preparation and is generally easier to separate from liquid using a strainer or filter bag.
Powder
Fine kratom powder disperses more readily in water and may require finer filtration if the goal is a clearer finished beverage.
Tea bags
Commercial tea bags contain a measured kratom product inside filter material and represent another preparation format.
Kraken Kratom currently sells dried crushed Bali kratom leaf and specifically describes it as a product that brews into tea. Its educational content also states that powder can be brewed as tea.
